Where & How You Work

We offer remote/virtual positions and in-office positions. We have team in CA, OR, and AZ. For the roles below, we prefer that applicants consider a move to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where the majority of our team will work in coming years. However, if you are a rockstar and prefer to be remote, we will consider your application. In general, but not in all cases, we hire people as independent contractors for a few months as part of a specific project to gauge their work, autonomy, character, and excellence; and if they are a fit and prefer to work in our offices or under greater direction we offer full-time employment with benefits. Either way, your next step is to apply so we can decide, together.

Why NOT to Apply

We’re not a fit for you if you do not absolutely LOVE the field of self-improvement. Brendon likes to say, “If you’ve not done the work, you won’t work for us.” So if you’re *new* to personal development, we’re not your team. If you haven’t recently read a book on self-improvement, psychology, sociology, spirituality, wellness, or related behavioral sciences, then you’re just not for us.

You must also LOVE being part of a positive, supportive, collaborative and smart culture where everyone challenges themselves and pride themselves on being reliable, disciplined, creative, and fun. We’re going to push you to contribute your best because our work matters. You have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable in a startup-vibe. You have to be willing to do dozens of tasks, big and small, as there is no ego here and we all do what’s needed to innovate and serve.

This is a company dedicated to high performance, so if you don’t resonate with that topic you won’t qualify or enjoy this work. If you haven’t read Brendon’s book High Performance Habits, you should before applying – because that’s what we’re about!

All Position Requirements

 

  • We are only seeking EXPERIENCED and qualified candidates, with a minimum of FOUR (4) years experience in the specific role.
  • We are looking for long-term teammates! We will directly ask you if you feel you can work for us for at least 4 years. We want those who want to launch a new company and jump in with full heart and commitment.  We are not a side-hustle culture. In other words, sorry, we are not looking for fans, interns, or people who want to work under Brendon to gain their first skills. (We do that in other brands, not this one). We’re the top company in our space, so we’re looking for top-level talent and we’re not shy about that.
  • Start Date: November 2020 to January 2021.
  • Compensation: Dependent upon position and experience. Please understand that hundreds of people ask to work for us FREE every month just to gain insight on our best-practices or be in a high-performing company led by Brendon Burchard. This is why we offer standard salaries in our industry, but we start you with projects to prove yourself then promote from there. If you’re looking to make your millions as an entrepreneur or influencer, please go do that elsewhere — we hire for team operations here. If you want to work for a huge company of thousands of people, and have stock options in a big public company, then go do that elsewhere too. We consider ourselves a startup still and always will.

 

Open Positions

 

Please do *not* apply if you do not have FOUR YEARS MINIMUM of real-world experience in the following positions. We are looking for pros.

  • Human Resource Director / Recruiter. (Have you hired more than 10 people before, and created and managed the HR policies of a new startup? We are looking to hire 40 people in the next 12 months and need someone who has scaled a team before, preferably in a SAAS/software company).
  • NEW: Product Manager for a cross-platform software. (Must have participated in the development process and successfully launched and maintained a major app across desktop, iOs and Android).
  • NEW: Full-Stack Software Developer.  (Have you worked on a major piece of software or popular app before? We’re *not* looking for newbies here – you need to be able to quarterback a software that will be used by millions of people across platforms.  We’re developing backend with React Native, Java, Spring, Mongo and front with Webpack, Yarn, CSS/SASS/SCSS, Web UI frameworks – Material UI, Semantic UI, Blueprint JS, etc.)
  • NEW: App Marketing Manager. (Have you led a marketing team for a successful software company that had both desktop and mobile/ios/android? Did you help launch the software with both internal and external teams? Do you know the playbook to launch and scale a major app? Have you worked with 7-figure budgets? We want to talk to you!)
  • Editor-in-Chief. (Must have managed a major blog or magazine read by millions of people before; must have managed both in-house and outsourced teams of writers).
  • Facebook Ads Specialist. (Must have run 6 or 7-figures of campaign spend per month).
  • Google Adwords Ads Specialist. (Must have run ad campaigns in Adwords including YouTube ads with minimum budgets in the six figures per month.)
  • Controller. (Must have worked in a company with monthly recurring revenue as its primary financial driver. SAAS preferred. If you’ve never worked with Stripe data before, please do not apply).
  • Senior Copywriter. (If you are not obsessed about direct response; have not written a direct response sales letter or script that generated six-figures; or your copy has not been used in Facebook ads to sell tens of thousands of dollars worth of product, this is not for you.)
  • Kajabi Website Designer (Must have extensive Kajabi experience. If you’ve never built pages in Kajabi that you can wow us with, please do not apply).
  • Digital Marketing Specialist. (Must have built automated email campaigns and funnels; have exceptional copywriting skills, and understand or have run online challenges).
  • Social Media Specialist. (Must have run large social media accounts and have graphic design experience).
  • Creative Director / Graphic Designer. (Must have experience creating ads, social, video, web, print, product, both personally and as a manager of a team).
  • Executive Assistant. (Must have executive level experience with a major celebrity and/or a CEO of a multimillion-dollar company. Must have excellent communication skills, and love for videography and social media as that’s part of your boss’ life. Must relocate to San Juan, Puerto Rico).
  • Curriculum Manager. (Corporate training and organizational development experience preferred. If you’ve built out training materials for major companies, we want to hear from you).
  • Sales Consultant. (Must have sold over the phone as a primary occupation for a minimum of four years. Education industry and a consultative sales approach preferred. Must reside in or relocate to Gilbert, Arizona or San Juan, Puerto Rico).

 

How to Apply

 

Please do *not* apply if you do not have 4 YEARS MINIMUM of real-world experience, working for a company (not self-employed) in the above positions.

Follow these steps:

  1. Please consider the start date of November 2020 to January 2021. Virtual is ok. In-person offices are available if you prefer in Gilbert, Arizona or San Juan, Puerto Rico. (We’d love for you to join our teams there one day, but it’s not required). You’ll tell us your preference in the cover letter (#4 below).
  2. Film a video of yourself talking about which role you are applying for, and why you want the job. Also tell us about your favorite job you’ve ever had, and about a project you’ve had that didn’t go well and how you handled it. Keep the video under 7 minutes.
  3. Post the video on YouTube (you can keep it as an “unlisted” post so only people you give the link to can view it) or send us a Dropbox link to view. We may also send you a SparkHire invitation to answer more questions via video afterward.
  4. Write a 1-page cover letter telling us briefly about your relevant background and experience; why specifically you are passionate about personal development and working with Brendon; where you’d like to work (virtually or in Gilbert, AZ or San Juan, Puerto Rico with Brendon and leadership team); and what your desired starting salary range would be. If you miss any of these points, we cannot consider you.
  5. Send an email with your video link, letter, resume, and video to hiring@Brendon.com. Put the ROLE TITLE you are applying for in the subject line.
  6. If we are interested, we’ll reply within 10 business days and ask you to interview with us via SparkHire or Zoom. You’ll do one round with our hiring manager. If you make it through, you’ll do another round with the hiring manager and a person who would be your direct manager. The final round is with Brendon Burchard and your previous interviewers or a member of your potential team.
